I purchased Blues Guitar Course July 2020 now as a beginner I'm learning! But the acoustic downloads, lesson support are not easy to get to help me progress with the 2014 copyright! I have emailed rockhousemethod an no reply, wondering if I wasted money cause not 1 accompany lesson has downloaded nor when I hit acoustic guitar does anything significant happens.

This video deserves gold but I kinda want to keep thede techniques a secret to myself.

I thought it was modal arppegios. Not really. 1,3,5,7,9,#11,13. Is a modal arppegio. (Lydian modal arppeggio) there really are modal chords. phrigian chord/arppegio 1,b2,5. Lydian chord/arppegio 1,#4,5 and locrian 1,b2,b5. And 1,4,b5 You can find the when you learn to build sus2 and sus4 chords through the modes.... sus2 is 1,2,5. Sus 4 is 1,4,5 Dorian 1,b3, 6. Lydian 1,3,5,7,9,#11,13 Ionian 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 Mixolydian 1,3,5,b7,9,11,13 Dorian 1,b3,5,b7,9,11,13 Aeolian 1,b3,5,b7,9,11,b13 Phrigian 1,b3,5,b7,b9,11,b13 Locrian 1,b3,b5,b7,b9,11,b13 Modal arppegios from brightest to darkest (circle of fifths)

So beyond everyone criticizing his music theory, Is he a good teacher? Are these videos effective learning tools? Doe anyone that commented actually have the dvd to answer these questions or since they are all well versed in theory...a teaching video of their own to help out a low level intermediate player?

I remember i got my guitar when I was 13 I gave up and left it in the shed for years bought a new one amd now im back trying to learn how to play. I wish I hadnt given up. Padge and Jay are the coolest persons I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and have incredible talent I was backstage years ago in Glasgow with them then went dancin with jay after the show. They are soo nice and down to earth. Credit to the music industry and they FUCKING ROCK!!!

I came here trying to find john playing this song. This was the first dvd lesson i tried back in 2002 and this song inspired me to learn more. This dvd WORKS!!!! Is there any chance anyone knows this song or where i can find it from the dvd????
